The unit is designed to the same standards as CO sensing systems used to protect workers in industrial plants and hospitals. Its high reliability makes it an ideal solution for both residential and commercial life safety systems. The detector operates on an industrial-grade electrochemical sensor that continuously monitors for CO and is unaffected by temperature variations. It self-adjusts for temperature to operate accurately in most weather conditions. An audible alarm also gives local personnel a warning of inappropriate CO levels. This detector has disconnect sensing. Includes a C6420-40quick-connect cable (12m). Uses GE 240-COe carbon monoxide detector.
