Temperature reading can be accessed using a simple text command (lower case "t") via telnet or with software that support the Sensorsoft (SSDP) protocol like RWMC or RWME. Measures temperature between -55 C and +125 C (-67 F to +257 F). Suited for applications where sensor probe needs to be located outdoors, immersed in a liquid or slipped into a hard to reach place. The stainless steel probe is 20.3 cm (8") long with 1.2 m (4 ft.) long, high-temperature silicone rubber cable. Probe diameter is 6 mm (1/4"). Unit plugs into an ethernet switch using its 10/100 Base-T (RJ-45) interface and is powered through 2.1 mm external power jack. Includes AC-DC power adapter or PoE adapter.
